Invoking conspiratorial theories, he claimed on X, formerly known as Twitter, that AIPAC, the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, “makes our government put Israel’s interests before ours.”

“[Jeffery] Epstein[‘s] island was an Israeli Mossad op[eration] to blackmail US politicians,” Bilzerian added.

Epstein was a convicted sex offender of Jewish heritage who had owned Little Saint James, an island in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

In addition, Bilzerian alleged, “Covid[-19] was a scam, and we got poisoned while Israeli big pharma made billions, and our Israeli-controlled government and media forced it. The US is an occupied nation.”

Many anti-Jewish and anti-Israel posts from hundreds of individuals were placed under Bilzerian’s comments.

Israeli Media Covering

His statements were the focus of an article in Israel’s leading news outlet, the Jerusalem Post.

On June 10, Bilzerian made similar online comments against AIPAC.

“Until AIPAC registers as a foreign agent, we will remain a puppet of Israel,” he posted on social media.

On May 28, he commented online, “In case y’all were confused on where I stand, let me be clear, F**k Israel,” the Jerusalem Post reported.

Casino.org reached out to AIPAC and the Anti-Defamation League, a Jewish-based civil rights organization, for comment. No immediate statements were available on Sunday.

Who is Bilzerian?

Bilzerian, 43, is sometimes called the “King of Instagram” and has a reputation as a playboy.

He was born in Tampa, Fla. and once lived in Las Vegas.

He took part in the 2008 World Series of Poker Main Event, and was ranked 180th. He also claims to have won $10.8M during one night of poker.

In addition, Bilzerian founded Toronto-based Ignite International Brands Ltd. Among its products are CBD oils, electronic cigarettes, vodka, and water bottles.

He also attempted to run for U.S. president in 2016.

In 2015, he avoided a jail sentence but was ordered to pay a fine after negligently failing to extinguish a fire on federal land near Las Vegas.

In January, Casino.org ranked him as the wealthiest poker player. Bilzerian’s net worth is reported to be $200M.

He claims his money comes from wins on high-stakes poker games, but news reports counter it’s mostly from a trust fund set up by his financially successful father who’s known for many corporate takeovers.

Poker Player Dan Shak Settles COMEX-Spoofing Accusation for $750K

High-stakes poker player Dan Shak has agreed to pay $750K to federal regulators to settle an accusation that he spoofed the gold and silver markets on the Commodity Exchange Inc. (COMEX).

Dan Shak, COMEX, Commodity Futures Trading Commission, CFTC
Dan Shak claims he was confident he would have prevailed at trial but didn’t want the hassle of a lengthy and costly lawsuit. (Image: REG)

“Spoofing” refers to the illegal practice of placing bids on commodities with the intent to cancel before execution in order to manipulate the market.

Shak was sued by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) in August 2022 in a civil lawsuit that alleged he had engaged in “manipulative or deceptive acts.” From February 2015 through March 2018, he placed large orders for gold or silver futures that he had no intention of closing, according to the CFTC.

At the same time, he entered genuine orders on the opposite side of these markets, the lawsuit claimed.

Market Ban

The poker player “knew or was reckless to the fact that his Spoof Orders would send false signals of supply and demand into the market and would deceive or trick other market participants,” per the CFTC.

Under the terms of the settlement, Shak agreed not to deny the allegations but also not to admit to them. He is also prohibited from having any commodity interests traded on his behalf and soliciting, receiving, or accepting any funds from anyone for the purpose of selling commodities.

While I am confident I could have prevailed at trial, I have concluded the right decision for my family and me is to resolve this matter with no admission of wrongdoing and without the cost, delay, and distraction of protracted litigation,” Shak said in a statement issued to PokerNews via his lawyer.

“I was an active trader making millions of trades per year, and the CFTC’s allegations relate to a small fraction of trades that allegedly occurred from 2015 to 2018,” he added.

Previous Violations

In 2013, Shak paid a $400K fine to the CFTC for trying to manipulate the price of light sweet crude oil futures contracts on the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX). He was banned from trading outright futures contracts for two years. Just under two years later, he was fined $100,000 for violating that ban.

Shak has around $11.7 million in gross tournament earnings, according to the Hendon Mob Database. He is the founder and former principle of hedge fund SHK Management. He currently described himself on his LinkedIn page as a “self-employed commodities trader.”

Shak hit the headlines in 2012 when he sued his ex-wife, the poker player Beth Shak, claiming he was unaware of her $1 million shoe collection at the time of their divorce three years prior.

Dan claimed Beth hid her collection of 1,200 designer shoes from him, “possibly using a secret room” in their former $7.5 million Manhattan apartment. Had he known about the expensive footwear, he may have had to pay out less in the divorce settlement, he lamented.

“He is saying he didn’t know the closet in our master bedroom existed,” Beth told The New York Post.

Ex-Raiders Player Henry Ruggs Remains in Nevada Prison Camp During Super Bowl

As Henry Ruggs III’s former Las Vegas Raiders teammates watched Super Bowl LVIII this past Sunday, he continues his sentence at a Nevada prison camp with dorms rather than jail cells.

Ruggs, 25, is incarcerated at Stewart Conservation Camp, which is described as a minimum-security complex in Carson City, according to Las Vegas TV station KLAS.

No word if he watched the iconic football game played at Allegiant Stadium.

Nowadays, he’s been earning $2.50 an hour at a job that has him work off-site for government offices, KLAS reported.

Transfer From Prison

First, he was incarcerated at High Desert State Prison, after pleading guilty to two charges stemming from a deadly collision.

In September, he reportedly was transferred to the minimum-security facility.

Ruggs was sentenced in August to at least three years in prison. He could be granted parole in August 2026.

In November 2021, Ruggs was driving up to 156 mph on Rainbow Boulevard in Las Vegas. He crashed his Corvette into a Toyota RAV4, driven by Tina Tintor, 23. She and her dog, Max, both perished in the fiery collision.

Ruggs’ blood-alcohol level after the deadly incident was 0.16, authorities revealed. That’s double the legal limit.

Initially, he was charged with DUI resulting in death, DUI resulting in bodily harm, two counts of reckless driving resulting in death or substantial bodily harm, and possession of a firearm while under the influence.

Ruggs faced up to 50 years in prison if he had been convicted of dropped charges, prosecutors said.

But he pled guilty to reduced charges of DUI resulting in death and vehicular manslaughter.

The firearm charge was one of those dropped counts even though a loaded gun was found in his Corvette after the crash.

Ruggs was socializing at TopGolf in Las Vegas hours before the crash.

Courtroom Apology

Before being sentenced, Ruggs last year apologized to Tintor’s family, his former team (the Las Vegas Raiders), and his relatives.

“To the parents and family of Ms. Tintor, I sincerely apologize for the pain and suffering my actions the morning of Nov. 2, 2021, have caused you, your family and those who knew Ms. Tina and Max,” Ruggs said in the courtroom.

I let my family, my teammates and those who believed in me down with my actions and hurt so many.”

After the crash, Ruggs was released by the Raiders. He had signed a four-year NFL contract reportedly worth more than $16M.

He was a first-round NFL Draft pick. Ruggs led the Raiders in receiving yards in 2021. The former Alabama standout had 24 receptions, 469 receiving yards, and two touchdowns through seven games.

His sentence has been questioned by former NFL star and celebrity O. J. Simpson, who believed it to be short, compared to his own sentence for armed robbery, which was between nine and 33 years.

Lucky Player Wins €250,000 SOFTSWISS Prime Network Jackpot

After the SOFTSWISS Jackpot Aggregator launched the progressive Jackpot on the Prime Network in October 2023, the fortunate player finally claimed the winnings on February 7, 2024! The winner of the Jackpot takes the EUR 244,742.34 prize aggregated in the Prime Network Jackpot campaign.

Progressive Jackpot Campaign

The campaign was run by multiple operators that collectively established shared prize pools to pay winnings from such pools rather than by individual operators. Such a design enabled the campaign to offer outstanding rewards and attract a huge number of players. For this reason, the Prime Network Jackpot campaign received online bets of only one euro to see around one million in bets in the prize pool from October 2023 to February 2024.

€244K Jackpot Hit on February 7, 2024

first_softswiss_prime_network_jackpot_strikes_e244kThe first Prime Network Jackpot was seen on February 7, 2024 at the Fastpay Casino platform when a lucky player hit the 244,742.34 euro prize on a game provided by BGaming. When the jackpot amount paid from the network prize pool is compared to winnings from regular non-network progressive jackpots not exceeding 50K euro, it is evident that the network approach brings more benefits to players and operators. Therefore the SOFTSWISS Jackpot Aggregator is set to soon launch its next Prime Network Jackpot campaign as it is becoming a strategic tool for casinos to boost their operations.

Aliaksei Douhin, Head of SOFTSWISS Jackpot Aggregator at SOFTSWISS, commented: “We’re thrilled that the long-awaited win happened during the ICE industry event, an ideal time for the community to connect and share insights. This win provides an additional reason for celebration with our partners.

Following our initial online progressive network jackpot campaign with a starting 100,000 euro prize pool, we’re immediately launching a new one starting at 300,000 euro. This campaign offers substantial rewards for players and facilitates jackpot payouts from the collective prize pool. It serves as an effective marketing strategy to engage and attract users, a pertinent topic for discussion at ICE and, particularly, at our stand.”

Fastpay Casino representative added: “Hosting the inaugural draw of SOFTSWISS’ Prime Network Jackpot campaign has been an honour and a stroke of fortune for us. Among the many participating casinos, ours was privileged to be the first to celebrate a winner in this exciting campaign. It’s particularly symbolic that the win occurred in a game developed exclusively for us by BGaming – Fastpay Bonanza. This event underscores the advantages of collaborative network jackpots and affirms our commitment to providing exceptional gaming experiences. We look forward to hosting more such exciting events, continuing to create winners among our players and our casino community.”

Commenting on the winning campaign, Marina Ostrovtsova, CEO at BGaming said:“It’s gratifying to see players enthusiastically embracing fresh industry initiatives, like the SOFTSWISS Prime Network Jackpot campaign. We’re glad to mark the first winner in BGaming’s game, tailored specifically for Fastpay Casino. We’re thankful to the partners involved. As BGaming continues to create customised games and engaging online casino titles, we eagerly anticipate more SOFTSWISS’ campaigns.”
