This news comes as a great surprise to many as less than just 6 – months ago Mbappé agreed to a large and very profitable contract extension with Paris Saint – Germain F. C., and now the French football star is seeking a way out from PSG as Kylian has been reported to be full of growing frustration regarding his current situation.

According to sources the World Cup winner with France had been getting close to joining the Real Madrid football club via a free transfer this past summer, but Mbappé eventually decided to stay with Paris Saint – Germain for 2 – additional seasons and having a player option to remain there for an extra season if he so chose to do so.

Various reports that were published in France on Tuesday, October 11^th, 2022 through multiple sports and news media outlets including the L’Equipe sports daily, RMC, and Le Parisien, as well as Marca, which is a Spanish publication, disclosed the understanding that Kylian is unsatisfied playing for Paris Saint – Germain, and that he wishes to leave the football club as early as this January’s transfer window if possible.

The sports adviser for Paris Saint – Germain, Luis Campos, who is said to be very close with Mbappé, told the Canal + broadcaster that the disgruntled forward definitely refrained from telling him that he was looking to move away from the football powerhouse this upcoming January during the next transfer window.

The Paris Saint – Germain F. C. has absolutely dominated the French League especially ever since the cash – rich Qatari investors took control of the club back in 2011, but they unfortunately have failed to produce that level of success on the overall European stage even though they have spent massive amounts on superstar players to put on the pitch for PSG.

The club officials of PSG had hoped Kylian’s past decision to rebuff the advances of the Spanish giant would ultimately lead them to the conquest of acquiring club football’s most coveted trophy from winning the Champions League, and it is extremely unlikely that PSG will let Mbappé leave town without some sort of a fight.

The innovator’s existing PopWin mechanic creates a second symbol for each one that is part of a winning combination – this game does something different – for every win that occurs, the MultiPop mechanic locks a multiplier to the cell (not the symbol). About three years after the Illinois legislature passed a bill approving Hard Rock Casino Rockford, the ground was broken last Wednesday by Hard Rock representatives and city officials in a much-anticipated ceremony.

The shovels were turned at the casino’s permanent location near the entrance of Interstate 90 on East State Street. The new permanent casino will replace the temporary, “Rockford Casino: A Hard Rock Opening Act”, on Bell School Rd by September 2023 according to some reports. However, the full build-out which will include a hotel in Phase II is still some three years away.

The 65,000-square-foot casino floor is expected to hold 1,500 slot machines and 55 gaming tables with dealer and croupier-assisted games like blackjack, roulette, and craps.

Additional amenities in the cards for the Hard Rock casino in Rockford include a Hard Rock Café, a 1,600-seat Hard Rock Live venue, a mix of 3 restaurants, and a 15,000-square-foot concert seating area.

In nearby Beloit, just 30 minutes away and across the Wisconsin border, the Ho-Chunk Nation is building a $405 million casino and some observers think the first to cross the finish line will enjoy a long-term greenfield advantage. The price tag for Hard Rock comes in at a little over $300 million.

President of the Rockford Area Convention and Visitors Bureau, John Groh, takes a wider, longer view and says that the casino’s location just off I-90 along with the Hard Rock brand will draw plenty of people to the city.

“Right now, the opening act is seeing visitation from beyond 90 miles and even across the country. We know that when the permanent casino is open, those numbers will increase. The pool, or area which people come from, will increase and be significant” he said.

According to a report in a local news outlet, MyStateline.com, Hard Rock Rockford president, Geno lafrate, said about 1,000 people will be employed at the casino.

Corporate Hard Rock (HRI) raised wages throughout the company beginning a week ago with hourly wages going up as much as $3.00 and salaried employees seeing as much as $5,000 extra over the course of a year.

lafrate wants his team to have a living wage and understands the importance of it.

“Maybe you could get a little bit better place to live, maybe you could provide better for your family, maybe you could buy a car and not be on public transportation anymore,” he said. “There’s a variety of reasons that it just made sense to do. And across the entire company, we’re spending $100 million dollars in voluntarily increasing our minimum starting wage throughout Hard Rock.”

Rockford Mayor Tom McNamara spoke of the impact the city’s relationship with Hard Rock already has. He spoke of more than 800 construction jobs, about the same number of full-time jobs, and mentioned that the average income of Hard Rock employees will be about $50,000 per year.

McNamara said, “Today, already more than 200 kids are going to Northern Illinois University, tuition-free, for four years. Seventy percent of them are first-generation college-going students. Seventy percent of them are kids of color. Don’t tell me it’s not good for Rockford!”

Geolocation – the technology that allows a provider of internet services to know the location of a consumer beyond a doubt – is critical to the way US online casinos and sportsbetting sites operate. One of the pioneers and a well-established concern in the realm is GeoComply.

The company recently filed suit for patent infringement against a newer company, Xpoint, based on how a consumer’s location is determined.

According to an article in Legal Sports Reports, GeoComply filed suit against the company on September 27, following the company’s first activities in the US marketplace. The suit purportedly makes mention of Xpoint’s work with a PlayStar and its online casino, initially a New Jersey operation. Two New Jersey sports books – Sporttrade and Mojo are also mentioned as using Xpoint’s services, according to the report.

GeoComply is reportedly seeking to protect its patent and pursuing other relief.

Confident in the Merits of the Case

The company said in a statement:

“This action is about protecting GeoComply’s proprietary technology.

“We welcome healthy competition and new ideas in the marketplace and the ability to distinguish our leading solutions and technology from others. We also respect, and expect others to respect, the valuable intellectual property that companies like ours spend a lot of time, effort, and money developing. We are confident in the merits of our case.”

According to the report, GeoComply is alleging that Xpoint is violating one of its patents by utilizing the same data collection methods GeoComply owns and uses in order to execute its own geolocation tech.

US Patent 9,413,805B2 was granted to GeoComply as of August 9, 2016.

Geolocation is Part of Online Gambling

Nearly all online casinos use geolocation as part of the HTML5 instant play gaming framework, but most of it is as simple as reading a browser’s IP address. Some operators go a step further and attempt to determine if a visitor is using a VPN or other location masking technology. GeoComply’s methods are much more specific and undefeatable – something regulators in US states insist on so they can be confident a player just across the border of a state or anywhere else cannot participate in real money gambling.

The lawsuit alleges that Xpoint knew it was abusing intellectual property.

“On information and belief, XPoint knows and at all relevant times knew that the XPoint geolocation software is made or adapted for use in an infringement of one or more claims”

Xpoint would not comment further but said the allegations were without merit.

Information detailing GeoComply’s allegations was provided as follows:

“A method for determining a geo-location, the method comprising:

• transmitting a request to a first server by a first device;
• collecting geolocation data associated with the first device in response to the request, the geolocation data collected by a module stored in memory and executed by a processor on the first device, the first device in communication with the first server which provides a service over a network;
• identifying that one or more selected programs are present at the first device;
• transmitting the geolocation data and programs and a list of the present selected programs to a second server;
• receiving a geolocation message from the second server, the geolocation message generated at least in part from the geolocation data and a list of the present selected programs;
• providing the received geolocation message to the first server.”

Xpoint has until Oct. 20 to answer the complaint.
